6th Generation Hunter Thumbs Nose at So-Called “Hunting Experts” and Reveals A Simple and Proven Method to Take Amateur Hunters and Turn Them Into Legends!
“Deer Secrets” really clarified many of hunting tactics that I had learned from my dad while growing up on a quail plantation in South Georgia as well as gave me some new tactics to use. This book does a great job of explaining the habits and habitats of the White Tail. I was able to start applying many of the tactics suggested in the book at my hunt club here in South Carolina. I have experienced immediate success during my first two hunting trips after finishing the book. I have seen more deer than I did during the whole season last year. I am very optomistic about having a very successful season this year. Thanks “Deer Secrets”! Continue reading →
A special training series with practical information on food plots and all sorts of handy deer hunting tips to help you succeed on the quest for your trophy buck.
At last I finished the Second Edition book the other day. I found it to be easy to read and understand. It highlighted the important parts of doing a food plot that will succeed. Weed control almost keeps me awake at night just thinking about them. The thought process of what to plant and when was very helpful. Again it is like having someone walk the property and tell me what to do. In talking to some friends about the book the same thing came up always. They wanted something that they could read and understand without having a degree to go along with it. Continue reading →
Jim Gibbinson is a well known published carp fishing author. He has written a number of fishing books, as well as contributing to numerous magazines, and there aren’t many anglers in the UK who haven’t read something by him. Julian Grattidge has been a carp angler for as long as he can remember. He specialises in specialising! Throughout his angling years, he’s done just about any kind of carp fishing available and adapts his approach accordingly. For example, when he was young, free and single, he’d do longer sessions and study carp behaviour and baiting techniques that would bring the best long-term results. Having just become a father for the first time, he’s concentrating on two other aspects of carp fishing, with great results – stalking (including surface fishing) and short session angling. If you are anything like me, the thought of going fishing and seeing a glimmering tuna bust the surface of the ocean as it fights on the end of your line is enough to make you smile! My face literally lights up when I think about fishing for tuna on my boat “the bluefin” and I get excited to the point where I can hardly sleep the night before a trip.
Since the first time I caught a yellowfin tuna as a young boy alongside my brother, I knew that tuna fishing would be something I’d be hooked on for the rest of my life! Not every 11 year old kid gets to see a 250kg yellowfin up close and personal, so you can imagine why it stuck in my head and made such a big impression. Continue reading →
